And I was having such a good day too... It's not even my day! It's my fiancé's 24th birthday and things were going swell...

Ok, so, I overheard a conversation between my fiancé and his mom (and now the two are talking with his dad) about his future and what's going to go on. My fiancé has been having the worst luck with the military for a year now and now he's unsure if he even still wants to go in. Anyway...the part of the conversation that hit me is that come September, whether he goes into the military or not, we're getting the boot from the house. I don't make enough to support myself much less the two of us and there's just no jobs open around here (he's been looking, trust me). We could maybe move to NC and live with my parents for a bit but that can't last forever either (that and I haven't talked to them yet so I dunno if they would let us). So he and I took and walk and talked it over. If nothing else, I'll be packing my stuff and going back home. I'll be out of a job and I know it'll be rough finding a new one...but I just can't support an apartment and food with the job I currently have (unless it was a really crappy apartment and I ate little). (And things may change between now and then but at the same time, things haven't been changing much for us for the last year...)

And now to the point of this journal... I'm really serious about taking commissions. I don't know what I'd charge or offer but I can't be terribly picky at this point. I really need to know if people are going to be interested and if y'all are, what would you like to get and how much are you willing to pay? Come June, I should hopefully have access to my painting supplies again and could offer up mini paintings (they'll cost more but you'd be getting the actual painting). If you or anyone would be interested in those, let me know.

I don't know exactly when I can start taking requests (I guess I could after I find out if people are interested or not) but I'm sure I'll be taking them soon. I've gotta bring in some extra money to at least help my fiancé keep his car. I'm pretty desperate here so any help, advice, whatever would be so awesome right now. Even some encouraging words might lift my spirits.
