My Little Army Pony

Ok, so this needs a little backstory to it so it's not so random.

First off, my husband's platoon is called DARK HORSE and it's what we've had to write on the back of our letters. His mom, however, included a drawing of a horse/horse head on the back, a different one for each letter. Some were "manly", I guess you'd say, while others were more childlike or "girly". About a month ago, in one of Tom's letters, one of his Drill Sargents tells him to tell us "no more My Little Pony shit". We found this all too amusing and it gave me a random spark of inspiration.

So, I found a pony at Good Will for $.19 then painted it up in digital camo while also chopping off most of it's flowing locks. It's more or less to say that I can make a My Little Pony good enough for the DSs. I just sent off pictures of it so I won't know there reactions to it just yet. But it's amusing and I had fun painting it and that's all that really matters.

Also, my brother-in-law named it Butch.
